Which do you prefer?

Since the reigning Ladies 6 super star, Lisa Jean DeGeare has shown her stuff by wearing a helmet after a couple of bad wrecks, I have noticed an increase in other riders coming forward with head gear. Many including Karen's HellHat Posse are posting their dressed up helmets and they are looking good.

Even the FEI Dressage riders have changed their rules to make helmets mandatory while doing their flat work instead of the silk top hats. As fast as we go on these shooting horses, it makes sense to protect that melon! I dusted my helmet off after watching the movie, "CONCUSSION"..

With Fallon Taylor in the barrel horse world and with Lisa Jean in the mounted shooting world wearing helmets, and both of these women are at the top of their game, more and more riders will start wearing helmets in mounted shooting.

I wouldn't be here today or possibly not walking if I hadn't worn a helmet during a show. And the helmets pictured here are good looking...I kinda cringe at the brim tho.

Maybe we should have a helmet contest to see who has the fanciest one!
