There are so many different types and styles of holsters that you should try a couple different ones if you are just getting into mounted shooting. What's your style?

I would like to hear opinions on pommel mounted holsters. The wearable ones look uncomfortable for a women to wear.
I think women has defiantly have different holster challenges then men. If you are bigger busted, there are some types that are just going to be totally uncomfortable.I have only seen a couple pommel holsters so I would like to hear a comment on those, too.

No joke - some of the designs ARE uncomfortable for women!
I had a custom set made to start with and loved them. Single buckle, wide back, easy access right in front of my stomach. They were a great starter set!
As I have progressed in speed and competence in my gun handling, I actually prefer the KL design. Same wide back, double buckles (much easier for me to adjust), and the front piece is actually dropped a little to accommodate boobs. ( picture attached for reference)
Personally, I don't care for pommel holsters for a few reasons -the strongest being - when I am running my horse, I don't want to have to change my body position to reach my holsters on my saddle. Doing that is a super quick way to come off a fast moving horse ....
