We are offering for sale, Nona the Wonder Pony! This little mare has been used extensively in my lesson program for several years. Nona is BROKE, kind and a very hard worker. She jumps 18" courses, runs barrels, weaves poles & packs the tiny tots safely around trails, cows or cars--and on many occasions, all of that in the same day. Rides out in a snaffle, curb or even a side pull halter; English or Western tack or bareback. My daughters & students have won mountains of ribbons on her competing in gaming, English & Western Pleasure, Jumping & Competitive Trail riding. Nona has started gun training and has been shot off of (cap gun) & exposed to black powder shots on the ground. She's schooled training level dressage & some lateral movements. She also swims & has been used as a mount at hunting dog field trials. She is sensible, safe, caring & quiet. At 19 years old she stands at 13.2 hands, has always been barefoot, pasture kept, respectful of fences & never needed a blanket. Nona is UTD on her cares, easy to handle & has no history of founder, illness or lameness. She is a very safe, well loved, happy pony looking for another child who loves horses! Normally I would not part with a pony THIS good, but my oldest daughter is moving on to a more competitive mount. Pre-purchase exams are welcome at buyers expense. Located in Marengo, WI.
